Minnesota Church Apparently Conned Out of Thousands of Dollars for Second Time in a Year

Normally one might think about how terrible those man are for conning this church. I certainly think that way too. But then I read this,

As with Bennett, church leaders found Poole in an Internet advertisement when they searched for a new pastor.

and I think "what in the blue hades were these people thinking???" An internet advertisement??? HELLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!?!?!?!?!?!
