So yes, Nathan Cullen won Skeena/BV by a healthy 1200 votes. There were close races all over the place this year, and although I was disappointed last night, I am more optimistic today. After all, the NDP and Liberal's combined only total 154 seats! That is exactly half of the seats in Parliament, which means that the Conservatives, the Bloc, and the lone Independant candidate (in Surrey) combined can halt any stupid-ass legislation that Paul Martin decides to pass.

The chances of the Bloc and the Cons agreeing on anything is slim, but it is nice to know that the right has a voice this year.
